Held in Nairobi from July 22–25, the STEMtastic Adventures! Africa Symposium brought together policymakers, education practitioners, donors, researchers, and innovators from across Africa and beyond.
Co-hosted by the mEducation Alliance, CEMASTEA, and AUDA-NEPAD, the symposium created space to share promising practices, explore evidence-based approaches to STEM instruction, and catalyze new collaborations.
Objectives
The Symposium focused on four key objectives:
- Exploring innovative STEM education approaches in both formal and informal settings.
Strengthening regional and international collaborations to tackle STEM education challenges across Africa.
Promoting equity by advancing inclusivity and accessibility in STEM education.
Highlighting the role of STEM in fostering sustainable development and long-term impact.
Target Audience
The Symposium brought together a diverse array of leading thinkers, activists, and implementers, including:
